Summary: Review Request: jogl - Java bindings for OpenGL https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=439630 walters@xxxxxxxxxx changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |tcallawa@xxxxxxxxxx ------- Additional Comments From walters@xxxxxxxxxx 2008-04-02 20:39 EST ------- Tom, I'm wondering if you know anything about this. I just noticed too the LICENSE.txt in the jogl source has this note: NOTE: The Original Code (as defined below) has been licensed to Sun Microsystems, Inc. ("Sun") under the SGI Free Software License B (Version 1.1), shown above ("SGI License"). Pursuant to Section 3.2(3) of the SGI License, Sun is distributing the Covered Code to you under an alternative license ("Alternative License"). This Alternative License includes all of the provisions of the SGI License except that Section 2.2 and 11 are omitted. Any differences between the Alternative License and the SGI License are offered solely by Sun and not by SGI. Were the 2.2 and 11 the problematic sections? From looking at the FSF's web site on this, 2.2 and 11 look like the objectionable parts. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
