A package that is included in Fedora/EPEL is by definition not 'add-on' software and thus falls outside of the definition: ---- 3.13. /opt : Add-on application software packages 3.13.1. Purpose /opt is reserved for the installation of add-on application software packages. A package to be installed in /opt must locate its static files in a separate /opt/<package> or /opt/<provider> directory tree, where <package> is a name that describes the software package and <provider> is the provider’s LANANA registered name. ---- An addon software though that was completely ISV would be in /opt/<packagename>/ with all of its 'patched' tools residing there. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
