Both packages have now been reviewed and approved, and there were a few good tips in there from Ben so please look over those reviews as well. So far your experience with packaging has all been Python (and that's fine!) so my recommendation when you review a package in a different language is to rely heavily on the documentation at https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/ and start with a non-formal review just like you did for these Python packages. Different languages have different levels of automation from RPM macros (usually less than Python) so it can be a bit intimidating even for experienced packages. I still do non-formal reviews and they are appreciated and valuable, so don't be afraid to start with those!
