So the door is open to try and approach of having there be a -gnu and -llvm sub-meta-package that pulls in the desired toolchains (while defaulting to GNU components in the build config). Alternatively, we could have the GNU toolset (explicitly stated or subpackage) be a recommends for the standard install, and have the LLVM toolchain be an available subpackage.
