https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2250477 --- Comment #4 from Fabio Valentini <decathorpe@xxxxxxxxx> --- I have thought about this, but it would be very awkward here. Essentially, granite-7 is a different project and not just version 7 of granite. granite V7 provides: - libgranite-7.so - granite-7 pkgconfig file - granite-7 headers and Vala bindings granite V6 provides; - libgranite.so - granite pkgconfig file - granite headers and Vala bindings I would like to stay closer to upstream / the actual library name. Packaging granite v7 as just "granite" and granite v6 as "granite6" would be an inversion of what's already getting installed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are always notified about changes to this product and component You are on the CC list for the bug. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2250477 Report this comment as SPAM: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Bugzilla&format=report-spam&short_desc=Report%20of%20Bug%202250477%23c4 -- _______________________________________________ package-review mailing list -- package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to package-review-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
