https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2154514 --- Comment #17 from Dridi Boukelmoune <dridi.boukelmoune@xxxxxxxxx> --- I guess I can't dissociate my developer self from my package maintainer self. I'm the kind of developer who ships "dist" archives and RPMs for $DAYJOB :) Regarding AR in the toolchain, it went away in the big rewrite of the build driver, the same refactoring that made me postpone a patch that would greatly ease the generation of provides/requires for hare modules. I'm purposefully stuck at an old hare commit because I don't want to also maintain qbe and harec locally, but once your pull requests get merged I may catch up with Hare development. It's going to be painful though, already behind a couple hundred patches... The reason why I wanted cross compilation working out of the box in my spec is inspired the hare command that manages all the dirty details on your behalf, so you don't use harec and the rest of the toolchain directly. I find it much more friendly than having to fail an attempt and then having to figure how to make it work. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are always notified about changes to this product and component You are on the CC list for the bug. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2154514 Report this comment as SPAM: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Bugzilla&format=report-spam&short_desc=Report%20of%20Bug%202154514%23c17 -- _______________________________________________ package-review mailing list -- package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to package-review-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
