Or is this featue explicitly disabled? etc. Small nit: Use-setuptools-rust-instead-of-maturin.patch has "[PATCH 1/2]" in it, which might be a tad confusing to anybody who is digging that deep (so effectively, probably nobody), considering the "[PATCH 2/2]" part is not there.
