https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2173523 Benson Muite <benson_muite@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Flags|needinfo?(benson_muite@emai | |lplus.org) | --- Comment #18 from Benson Muite <benson_muite@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> --- c) Some testing is helpful. The tests do not need to be packaged. Tried adding this, but the first test launches a GUI and so fails: https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/fed500/qt6-qtspeech/fedora-rawhide-x86_64/05594080-qt6-qtspeech/builder-live.log.gz Maybe using tools such as: https://gitlab.com/dogtail/dogtail https://github.com/ldtp/ldtp2 Dogtail was available: https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/dogtail/dogtail Would not block this, tests are a should item, but maybe helpful for other Qt applications. f) This may make the application difficult to use with a screen reader. The example is at: https://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtspeech.git/tree/examples/speech/quickspeech/main.qml To reproduce the problem run the app: qml-qt6 main.qml Once the window appears, change the language Fedora ships ttf fonts and not otf fonts. Maybe it is a configuration issue for qt-base? Maybe an error that should be reported upstream? Let me know if can reproduce it, I have tried on Fedora 37. Expect it is an internationalization issue, searches report similar problems for other Qt based applications. It does build on all architectures: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/fed500/qt6-qtspeech/build/5594152/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
