https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2121653 Bug ID: 2121653 Summary: Review Request: rofi-wayland - Window switcher, application launcher and dmenu replacement - fork with Wayland support Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Component: Package Review Severity: medium Priority: medium Assignee: nobody@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Reporter: alebastr89@xxxxxxxxx QA Contact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora Spec URL: https://alebastr.fedorapeople.org/review/rofi-wayland/rofi-wayland.spec SRPM URL: https://alebastr.fedorapeople.org/review/rofi-wayland/rofi-wayland-1.7.5+wayland1-1.fc38.src.rpm Description: Rofi is a dmenu replacement. Rofi, like dmenu, will provide the user with a textual list of options where one or more can be selected. This can either be, running an application, selecting a window or options provided by an external script. This package contains a fork of rofi with native Wayland support, expected to work with wlroots-based Wayland compositors (Sway). Fedora Account System Username: alebastr Notes: Name is chosen based on the Alpine and FreeBSD packages, upstream is ok with the name despite their unwillingness to rename the repository. -themes was a choice between two worst options; having a construction from 2 packages conflicting and replacing 2 other packages (which sometimes did not work as intended) or just relying on an absolutely identical contents of the rofi-themes. Relaxed dependency on themes is another forced thing, as sometimes wayland fork is updated with slight delay and that shouldn't block regular rofi. The changes in themes were pretty minuscule for past few releases anyways. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
