Set `Release: %autorelease` instead of the current `Release: 1%{?dist}` 2. Set: ``` %changelog %autochangelog ``` This should work on Fedora 35 and newer. It will generate the release tag and changelog entries from the git logs for the spec file. See: https://docs.pagure.org/fedora-infra.rpmautospec/ The spec file looks pretty good at first glance but running the `fedora-review` tool could point out any non-trivial issues.
