Your spec file looks good (although I don't understand the patches). In mine, I made a couple more changes and migrated the spec file to use py3_build py3_install to simplify it. Personally, I would prefer if you made a review of 2025124 and once it is added to Fedora, I would add you as co-maintainer. That way you would become a Fedora packager and circumvent the need to find a sponsor for your first package.
