https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2024881 Bug ID: 2024881 Summary: Review Request: java-17-openjdk - The OpenJDK 17 runtime and development environment. Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Component: Package Review Severity: medium Priority: medium Assignee: nobody@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Reporter: jvanek@xxxxxxxxxx QA Contact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora Spec URL: https://jvanek.fedorapeople.org/java-17-openjdk/v1/java-17-openjdk.spec SRPM URL: https://jvanek.fedorapeople.org/java-17-openjdk/v1/java-17-openjdk-17.0.1.0.12-8.fc36.src.rpm Description: The OpenJDK 17 runtime and development environment. Fedora Account System Username: jvanek@xxxxxxxxxx notes: 1) Scratch - https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=79065985 (loakl build passes) is run on f35, because f36 is currently unable to build JDK. Issue is worked on - https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/10348 (not yet fixed in this moment) 2) java-17-openjdk and java-latest-openjdk compatibility (source, binary and rpm): Both those packages can coexists, and - which is vital for this review - they have to remain identical, for whole life-cycle of JDKs 17 - from review, during review, in runtime and until java-latest-openjdk move to jdk18. Only super minor differences are allowed in that period - eg package name, and suffix `rolling` in the java-latest-openjdk. So whatever happens in this review, will reflect in latest, and similarly whatever happens to latest, will sooner or later reach this java-17-openjdk. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are always notified about changes to this product and component You are on the CC list for the bug. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2024881 _______________________________________________ package-review mailing list -- package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to package-review-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
