Something along desktop-file-install --vendor="fedora" \ --dir=${RPM_BUILD_ROOT}%{_datadir}/applications %{SOURCE1} should do. Mind the usage of "fedora" as vendor. There are also a couple more things to tweak: - The package owns /usr/share/pixmaps, which is a standard directory.
