https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1658707 --- Comment #8 from Javier Peña <jpena@xxxxxxxxxx> --- Updated files: - Spec: https://jpena.fedorapeople.org/python-confluent-kafka/python-confluent-kafka.spec - SRPM: https://jpena.fedorapeople.org/python-confluent-kafka/python-confluent-kafka-0.11.6-2.fc30.src.rpm Regarding some of the notes from the previous fedora-review output: [!]: Fully versioned dependency in subpackages if applicable. Note: No Requires: %{name}%{?_isa} = %{version}-%{release} in python3 -confluent-kafka , python-confluent-kafka-debugsource => Remove useless Requires from main package. The debugsource package is automatically generated, so it has no special requires. The python3-confluent-kafka package has proper requires, it cannot require python-confluent-kafka (it does not exist). I assume this is a bug in fedora-review. [?]: Latest version is packaged. => Upstream provides several releases towards version 1.0.0, maybe let's follow. The latest release in PyPi is 0.11.6, and some other packages requiring it (mostly OpenStack projects) require 0.11.6 as a maximum. I'd prefer to play it safe and keep this version, until 1.0.0 proper is released on PyPi. Thanks! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
