The configure process does NOT use autotools configure, but a locally developed C program. That is why there is : $ rpmlint libmawk.spec libmawk.spec:39: W: configure-without-libdir-spec 0 packages and 1 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 1 warnings. and I am not using the configure macro 2. There is Bison generated files for parsing the language. Those files are GPLv3, but as they are not used to develop a parser generator, the "special exception" allows for GPLv2 only. There are some files also using LGPLv2+, and public domain ones. => I consider the license to be only: GPLv2 Can be discussed.
