In my opinion, the "make install" is broken at the moment and tries to compile things that shouldn't be, which causes the error. Novell uses an included tool to build a directory with all the needed files in the sources dir, and then copies it in the buildroot. I've used the same method, it seems to work fine. Please have a look. Kelly, how about co-maintaining sunbird ?
