Apparently using different macro didn't fix the ownership issue. I've installed python2 version of the library and rpm still complains that /usr/lib/python2/site-packages/pydbus/ is not owned by any package. $ rpm -q python2-pydbus python2-pydbus-0.5.1-1.fc26.noarch $ rpm -qf /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pydbus file /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pydbus is not owned by any package In contrast, other python packages do claim respective directories under site-packages, e.g. $ rpm -qf /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/ansible ansible-2.2.1.0-1.fc25.noarch -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
