            Bug ID: 1326443
Summary: Review Request: re2c - Tool for generating C-based
                    recognizers from regular expressions
           Product: Fedora
           Version: rawhide
         Component: Package Review
          Severity: medium
          Assignee: nobody@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Spec URL: https://seansblag.com/software/re2c/re2c.spec
SRPM URL: https://seansblag.com/software/re2c/re2c-0.14.3-2.el7.src.rpm
Description: re2c is a tool for writing very fast and very flexible scanners.
Unlike any other such tool, re2c focuses on generating high efficient code for
regular expression matching. As a result this allows a much broader range of
use than any traditional lexer offers. And Last but not least re2c generates
warning free code that is equal to hand-written code in terms of size, speed
and quality.

Packages already exist for Fedora and EL6, but no EL7 packages exist. This
package is a dependency for openvpn-auth-ldap and is required to compile
optimized spamassassin rulesets
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1212912). I do intend to submit an
EL7 package for openvpn-auth-ldap shortly.

I've tested that this builds in Koji
(http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=13636725) and Copr
(https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/seancallaway/re2c/build/174820/).

This is my first package submission and I am looking for a sponsor.
