For other epel releases don't add this macro in spec file. Giuseppe, I will suggest you to please find some time and go through each point given on http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Guidelines and you will find many changes still needed for your package. I am busy currently but if I will get some time soon I may have a look at your package but in the meantime read guidelines and update your package.
