It's not useful, it's lacking sources. Further, as the build suppresses useful
output it cannot be immediately seen from the build logs why that happens.
Making the build verbose is a start (will submit a patch for that), and it
reveals that the build is not done using $RPM_OPT_FLAGS at all, and it contains
flags like -march which most likely aren't a good idea.
