Apparently the plan is to merge it in the Dip (packaged as coin-or-Dip) project. For the moment I preferred to just remove python2-devel from build requires, so the build would not detect python and not build the python module. If you prefer, we can put this review on hold before more clarifications on the state of the python module, and (pulp-or); in the mean time I will try to talk with upstream about it.
