leave that alone for the moment)

The patch bitcoin-0.8.5-libdb_path.patch is unnecessary. The build uses
BDB_INCLUDE_PATH for this purpose, and it appears to be set in the spec so I'm
not sure why this patch is there.

I don't think installing the "debian example configuration" is of any use. I'd
forgotten that was in contrib at all, and the system will not work with that
configuration alone in any case. (Though in principle I don't see anything
wrong with using it in principle, the one in the bitcoin codebase is outdated
and not useful).

The only thing that needs to be set for the daemon to actually be usable is the
rpcuser / rpcpassword settings, and rpcpassword should be set to a
cryptographically strong random value.
