I'd need a bit of help here (at > least). RPM automatically adds virtual provides for shared object files, since most are used for libraries. Unfortunately, these provides are bogus for stuff outside /usr/lib(64), and should be removed. This has been fixed in Fedora 20+, but manual filitering is still required for Fedora <= 19 and EPEL.
