Quite a few critical blockers I can see:

* Packaging to /opt is not allowed.

* You are trying to bundle libdb like the old versions of openldap did, but
bundling is bad.

* This package would interact with the default openldap database directory in
/var/lib/ldap via the upgrade scripts. That would inevitably result in a
breakage of the RHEL-5 openldap, thus is against the EPEL policies.
