Product: Fedora https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=948855 Bug ID: 948855 Summary: Review Request: perl-Getopt-Long - Extended processing of command line options Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Component: Package Review Severity: medium Priority: medium Assignee: nobody@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Reporter: ppisar@xxxxxxxxxx QA Contact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: notting@xxxxxxxxxx, package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Category: --- Spec URL: http://ppisar.fedorapeople.org/perl-Getopt-Long/perl-Getopt-Long.spec SRPM URL: http://ppisar.fedorapeople.org/perl-Getopt-Long/perl-Getopt-Long-2.39-1.fc20.src.rpm Description: The Getopt::Long module implements an extended getopt function called GetOptions(). It parses the command line from @ARGV, recognizing and removing specified options and their possible values. It adheres to the POSIX syntax for command line options, with GNU extensions. In general, this means that options have long names instead of single letters, and are introduced with a double dash "--". Support for bundling of command line options, as was the case with the more traditional single-letter approach, is provided but not enabled by default.
