I spoke with Toshio earlier today and we discussed that for reasons of expediency we could bend the conflict rules and I could submit the package for review with an explicit Conflicts: line until the other package fixes it. To that end, I've added a versioned Conflicts: to this version of the package so that it will automatically go away (or force an update of the 'node' package) once they put in their rebuild. As discussed above, this version of the package reverts back to the default '/usr/bin/node' naming.
