Don't know exactly how it works, but the documentation says, it is need at the runtime. http://cpansearch.perl.org/src/CAUGUSTIN/UUID-Tiny-1.03/META.yml I think (but I am new to this and never used Perl), it isn't autodetected because it is in eval statement.
