Scalable fonts are > computer programs, though, and are copyrightable." According to that, the fonts should be "Public Domain" and that license is missing yet. Blocking FE-LEGAL to get clarification of the above and a "English" to "yes/no" translation... (More aabout that in comment #9 comment #20)
