As the original developer of the spec file, I agree ;-).
It was made quickly for my own needs (different configs, different distros),
without a lot of knowledge about RPM, and it is definitely ugly.

Corrected in the SVN:
https://sourceforge.net/p/zenlib/code/398/
The intended license is definitely zlib license for this package.

Error from me. It is expected to be installed for people not using pkg-config.
I corrected it in the SVN:
