Here is an update for this package getting 3.8 to work, thanks to threebean for
his help.

here is the rpmlint against all the rpms

I'm not sure what it wants for the .so permissions, but 0751 seem to be the
settings for all of my shared objects.

I'm not sure how to handle the invalid-soname, shared-lib-calls-exit, or
debuginfo-without-sources . Some advice/help here would be nice.
