I thought I have solved it, but today I rebuilt it in Fedora 16 and see the problem again. The makefile overrides the enviroment CFLAGS variable, I have modified the makefile to compile with the RPM_OPT_FLAGS options, but the error persists. While compiling the RPM_OPT_FLAGS are used, but the resulting binaries don't have the debug info, maybe are there a problem in the linking?
