In addition, every binary RPM package which contains shared library files (not just symlinks) in any of the dynamic linker's default paths The key determinate on ldconfig being run in %post section is if the shared object is in the default linker paths. >From man ldconfig: ldconfig creates the necessary links and cache to the most recent shared libraries found in the directories specified on the command line, in the file /etc/ld.so.conf, and in the trusted directories (/lib and /usr/lib). The cache is used by the run-time linker, ld.so or ld- linux.so. ldconfig checks the header and filenames of the libraries it encounters when determining which versions should have their links updated. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ package-review mailing list package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/package-review
