(other filenames) .... wmnd-0.4.16/src/README.master.xpm It looks like your SRPM embedded .tar.gz is gzipped: $ gunzip wmnd-0.4.16.tar.gz $ file wmnd-0.4.16.tar wmnd-0.4.16.tar: gzip compressed data, from Unix, last modified: Mon Aug 16 20:10:11 2010, max compression $ tar -ztf wmnd-0.4.16.tar wmnd-0.4.16/ ....
