that makes sense, unfortunately i think there's a debian thing where we need
relative paths. given that you are not using CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX couldn't you
add something like:

cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=""

?

i'll re-examine the boost patches.
