I tested the updated RPM and found that this extension does move task tray
items out of messageTray into the top-pannel. 

Following the text of my configuration for
org.gnome.shell.extentsions.icon-manager using dconf-editor:

['a11y', 'gnote', 'parcellite', 'empathy', 'pidgin', 'workrave']

I have only used this rpm to see if this extension works for given purpose, but
I have not reviewed the RPM in particular.
