It may be even just subset of boost required by passenger? Of course I expcet that this boost fork would be maintained by Phussion, since they have to do it anyway IMO. Don't take me wrong, I know it is workarond. However forking of project is very natural in opensource, nobody will say "Oh, we cannot have LibreOffice in Fedora, because it is fork of OpenOffice.org".
