The bundled json library is an old (public domain) version of jsonxx (https://github.com/hjiang/jsonxx). The latest sources are MIT-licensed. Due to several API changes, Zorba probably can't be built with them. jsonxx doesn't seem to be intended for dynamic linkage as it lacks a soname definition. Actually, "make" only compiles the single C++ file to an object file.
