The maintainers of the BRLCAD project are in the process of taking over maintainership for them. I didn't mention it in comment 12, but TkHtml3 and OpenNURBS also need to be separated out from BRLCAD. There's been a bit of progress which I'll post back to the main BRLCAD bug.
