Oddly - installing this in Fedora 12 returns the following message:

[ke4qqq@nalleyx60 SPECS]$ sudo rpm -Uvh
../RPMS/noarch/php-channel-htmlpurifier-1.0-1.fc12.noarch.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]

PHP Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings.
You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the
date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and
you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone
identifier. We selected 'America/New_York' for 'EDT/-4.0/DST' instead in
/usr/share/pear/PEAR/Registry.php on line 1012

This appears to just be a warning and thus likely safe to ignore, and caused by
E_STRICT being set in php5.3.x

I am not sure how to solve this as this appears to be a bug with pear itself.
