Summary: Review Request: asterisk - The Open Source PBX https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=178922 ------- Additional Comments From jeff@xxxxxxxxxx 2006-10-19 08:31 EST ------- A couple of other issues: 1) There are no sounds packaged. The sound files, while not essential, are extremely important for full functionality. Unfortunately, the licensing of the sound file isn't clear. They are package separately from the source code but do not have any licensing information attached. Here are links to a thread that I started on the asterisk-dev mailing list: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-dev/2006-October/024096.html http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-dev/2006-October/024113.html Once the licensing is sorted out, I have packages ready for review. There are some Music on Hold sound archives as well, but the license on those would seem to prohibit inclusion in Fedora. 2) The Asterisk makefiles are capable of downloading the sound packages from Digium's FTP server. I haven't gotten that completely blocked so if you try to rebuild the package it will download some of the sound archives. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
