Summary: Review Request: Eternal Lands - a free MMORPG https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=210775 ------- Additional Comments From chris.stone@xxxxxxxxx 2006-10-16 02:00 EST ------- Okay, for those who did not follow the discussion on the mailing list, here is the summary: - ATrpms contains packages which update or replace packages in core - These replacements make debugging problems more difficult - Telling a user to remove those packages is a valid mechanism for simplifying a problem. - People who use ATrpms no longer have a "Fedora" system. They have a "Fedora/ATrpms hybrid" system. - Comments made by myself were not "unacceptable". Let me reiterate what was stated in comment #20: A repository should never replace, upgrade or obsolete any packages found in Core or Extras. Period. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
