See COPYING for the full license text." (All of the other wording about licensing should be replaced with the above sentences.) In addition, COPYING should be a copy of the GPL v2, and should be present in the tarball. If they don't want to do that for some reason, we would need an email from both Martin and Mario which includes the new license sentences (as above).
