Nope, include the dir and ghost the file. Then people might get a clue that there is something inside, e.g. %dir %{_localstatedir}/cache/afraid-dyndns %ghost %{_localstatedir}/cache/afraid-dyndns/afraid I wouldn't say that the separate dir is a must for you as upstream developer, it's just a recommendation for packaging in Fedora similar to libexecdir: "%{_libexecdir}. Packagers are highly encouraged to store libexecdir files in a package-specific subdirectory of %{_libexecdir}, such as %{_libexecdir}/%{name}." see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Guidelines#Libexecdir This may also help with SELinux issues, I know this from bad experience. :( https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=518068#c11 BTW: Does everything work with SELinux enabled? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
