Summary: Review Request: etckeeper - Store /etc in git, mercurial, bzr or darcs https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=521430 Summary: Review Request: etckeeper - Store /etc in git, mercurial, bzr or darcs Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: medium Priority: medium Component: Package Review AssignedTo: nobody@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: bernie@xxxxxxxxxxx QAContact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: notting@xxxxxxxxxx, fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx Estimated Hours: 0.0 Classification: Fedora Spec URL: http://codewiz.org/pub/fedora/specs/etckeeper.spec SRPM URL: http://codewiz.org/pub/fedora/source/etckeeper-0.40-1.fc12.src.rpm Description: The etckeeper program is a tool to let /etc be stored in a git, mercurial, bzr or darcs repository. It hooks into yum to automatically commit changes made to /etc during package upgrades. It tracks file metadata that version control systems do not normally support, but that is important for /etc, such as the permissions of /etc/shadow. It's quite modular and configurable, while also being simple to use if you understand the basics of working with version control. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
