This violates autoconf's working principles and prevents autoconf-based packages from using gdal. * SHOULDFIX: The way cfitsio is being configed is broken: ATM, you pass --with-cfitsio=/usr/include/cfitso This causes gdal to use -I/usr/include/cfits and -L/usr/include/cfits/lib. The latter is incorrect.
