Is there a way to unpack an SRPM into a local directory > rather than installing it or should I just do this inside of a VM? I do all my reviews in mock. It uses a chroot to build the packages, so your build directory is clean. Another option is to have a second user on your system with which you build the packages (better this way, so you don't end up blowing all your files away when building a crappily written spec file). Just run $ rpmdev-setuptree and build the SRPM with $ rpmbuild --rebuild package.src.rpm Or you can build using your normal user name, this way your SPEC, SOURCES and RPMS directories just get messier with every package you review... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
