I don't think this was intentional. * Could you please add GenericName's to these .desktop files? (KDE uses GenericName, Gnome uses Comment) * You used the desktop-database scriptlets from http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/ScriptletSnippets#desktop-database But those are for mime-types.
