Getting back to this, I see that the only real issues I had with this past comment #13 were in actually getting it working (which cleared up with selinux turned off). I've been running it on a couple of test servers, and while I haven't really tested it under failure conditions it at least seems to work OK. Can you simply add a note in %description or in a README.Fedora file or something which warns people not to try this with selinux?
