There is 3 common cases for the errors: 1/ songbird.x86_64: E: binary-or-shlib-defines-rpath /usr/lib64/songbird-1.1.2/xulrunner/mangle ['/usr/lib64/songbird-1.1.2', '$ORIGIN/../lib64', '$ORIGIN/../lib'] Whereas the /usr/lib64/songbird-1.1.2 rpath was expected to use the internal xulrunner, the others are what the rpath policy expect to have removed. There is a need to track why thoses additionals rpathes are added. 2/ songbird.x86_64: E: script-without-shebang /usr/lib64/songbird-1.1.2/xulrunner/dictionaries/en-US.aff Thoses files need to be chmod -x 3/songbird-debuginfo.x86_64: E: non-readable /usr/src/debug/Songbird1.1.2/dependencies/vendor/xulrunner/mozilla/xpcom/glue/pldhash.c 0640 The source code (ending in -debuginfo sub-package) need to be publicly accessible (0644) 4/songbird.x86_64: W: no-soname /usr/lib64/songbird-1.1.2/lib/sbGStreamerMediacore.so This one is a warning only... As I understand, it is meant to be dlopened and isn't registered as a system library; also, it doesn't have a SOVERSION. So this is acceptable for me. I still need to have rpmlint on installed files and runtime testing on F-11 x86_64 @Jasper I never experienced such problem in my case, either rpmbuild, mock or koji built. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
