I'm not sure how to handle this. The name of the upstream project is "fb-contrib". The findbugs developers often tell people to go to that project for extra detectors. So those who have seen a reference to it on the findbugs web site will look for the name "fb-contrib" in Fedora. On the other hand, naming it "findbugs-contrib" would list it with the other findbugs packages, so those browsing the package names would be more likely to find it there. I'm really not sure what to do. It would be nice if the upstream name were "findbugs-contrib". I'd also like a pony. :-) How about naming the package findbugs-contrib, but having it Provide: fb-contrib? Would yum find it then if someone did "yum install fb-contrib"? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ Fedora-package-review mailing list Fedora-package-review@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-package-review
